Cognitive Behavioural

Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing

This may include breathing exercises, mindful movement, and body scans. As part of mindfulness-based therapy, you may be asked to work towards identifying and challenging negative thought patterns so you can develop positive coping skills. This modality is used for a variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, stress, depression, and chronic pain. By creating an increased sense of connection to the self and others, you can experience a greater sense of purpose in life.

Narrative Therapy

With narrative therapy, you will focus on the stories you create about yourself, your experiences, and others. Psychedelic related psychotherapy refers to the work one can do to prepare for psychedelic experience, or the work done afterwards to integrate the experience. Psychedelic Related Psychotherapy is based on harm reduction principles. This modality can be provided in a one-one setting, or in group settings. The therapist needs to be someone who has knowledge about psychedelic medicines, as well as psychedelic experience in terms of any physiological, psychological and existential issues that may come up. The goal of psychedelic related psychotherapy is to help the individual make safe and maximum use of what they might have experienced during the course of taking a psychedelic substance, whether during a guided or unguided trip.

Psychodynamic Therapy
